Sabrina Zeleke Belay is a medical intern at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa University. She is currently serving as the National Director on Medical Education at the Ethiopian Medical Students’ Association (EMSA) where she coordinates and oversees activities on medical education in 15 different local chapters. As the National Officer, she also organizes and delivers capacity building training sessions both at a national and international level. She is also a member of the ONE Champions East Africa and Amref Health Africa Youth Council where she takes part in promoting meaningful youth participation by engaging in youth-led activities and campaigns. She is passionate about health and education issues of the youth. She coordinates an educational project called PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) that works on mentorship among medical students. She also serves as a local project coordinator for Project SHEBA (Sexual Health Education for Better Awareness) which promotes gender equality in intimate relationships among high school students.
