Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, I am Board Certified in the the the American Board of Internal medicine (2018), and Nephrology (2021) and completed an additional year of Transplant Nephrology in 2021. I completed my medical school in Ethiopia in 2010, at Addis Ababa University Medical school, and then did 2 years of practice as a General practitioner at Dodola Hospital where I also served as the first medical director of the hospital. ***** I did my internal medicine residency in New York at St.John’s Episcopal Hospital (2015-2018) and then went to study Nephrology and Transplant nephrology fellowships (2018-2021) at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Now I am working as an assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson Unversity and my roles include clinical care and teaching.
